New Post: Get the Item ID from a list item dialog window

I am looking for a way on how I can get the specific List Item ID of the item that was clicked, which prompts the default SharePoint Modal dialog box for viewing the item details. I have been able to change my settings and not show View, Edit, or New items in a dialog, where I use SPGetQueryString(), however it would be much nicer to be able to get the ID and use the dialog.
