Anyway thanks for taking a look its appreciated. The js files are hosted in a SP doc library in the same site, so all good there. To be honest I'm not overly worried now, I've since created a first use and acceptance page and incorporated the script there, so users will only ever get the warning once and it still runs just fine.
Thanks again for SPServices - Without it, we'd have potentially had to ask 4k users to update their own email addresses.
